The U.S.P.S. branch located at 200 Town Run Lane in downtown Winston-Salem, NC is a vital business resource for our community and it supports 20,000 employees and 38,364 residents within a 2 mile radius. Downtown is the home of a burgeoning residential and commercial business base with over 70 restaurants. It is also home to the Piedmont Triad Research Park and many of our city's oldest and largest businesses.

We urge the U.S.P.S. to reconsider this location for possible closure and to maitain this location as a branch. The federal government should support services within downtown areas rather than removing services.
