Re-release THE WAY WE WERE and YENTL to Movie Theaters in 2003

To:  Sony Entertainment, Columbia Tri-Star, MGM/UA

In signing this petition, we hope to persuade Sony Entertainment and their divisions, Tri-Star Columbia Pictures and MGM/UA to re-release two American film classics, THE WAY WE WERE and YENTL to theaters in 2003 in celebration of their 30th and 20th Anniversaries, respectively. The former, directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford has several scenes that were cut from the original film that we feel are integral to the story being told. We are asking that those scenes be restored. The latter, directed by and starring Barbra Streisand would be reedited only at the discretion of its director. By signing this petition, we are agreeing to support these re-releases with our patronage.
