Xbox 360 returns for discounted Xbox 360 Elite |
To: Purchasers of the Xbox 360Customers and fans of the Xbox 360 were loyal to Microsoft and bought the Premium Xbox 360 video gaming console.
We payed hundreds of dollars to get the best console available, but now that the Xbox 360 Elite will be arriving we feel that we now will not own the best. As the people who made the console such a huge success in under 2 years, we believed that the Xbox 360 Premium and Core consoles would be "it" for half a decade. Not even half that time has elapsed and a newer, updated version is to be release at the end of April 2007. Is this how we will be thanked? By having to buy another 360 for $479.99 so that we can make use of its apparent advantages over the two other versions?
All those who have signed the petition wish that the people who have bought the Xbox 360 Core or Premium video gaming console before April 29th, 2007, would be able to return their Xbox 360 gaming consoles and be able to buy an Xbox 360 Elite with a reasonable discount(For example, return a Premium or Core console that has proof of purchase in addition to be working properly could mean that if another $100 or so [of course somebody who returned a Core system should pay more than somebody who returned a Premium] was given with the Xbox 360 Core or Premium, an Xbox 360 Elite gaming console would be provided in exchange.) The Premium or Core consoles returned could be resold, given to customers who have had their 360 break, or some other possibilities that could easily become profitable to Microsoft.
In summary, due to Microsoft releasing the Xbox 360 Elite on April 29 of 2007 (US and Canada) those who have bought the Xbox 360 Core or Premium console before April 29, 2007 should be able to return their old Xbox 360(s) and in addition to a reasonable sum of money such as $100, recieve an Xbox 360 Elite.
Sincerely,
