A Petition To Bring Country Music Back In The Metro NYC Area

This petition, along with the undersigned, is a "voice" that will be heard by Nassau Broadcasting Partners, L.P., which is the new owners of 107.1FM, "The WYNY Quadcast", in the Metro New York City Area. This petition, along with the undersigned, agrees that country music is top priority and a main concern with the radio audience in the Metro New York City Area. This petition, along with the underigned, agrees that it is within the best interest of the Metro New York City Area radio listeners that 107.1FM "The WYNY Quadcast", should be changed back to a country format.

The following are a list of reasons why 107.1FM, "The WYNY Quadcast", should be switched back to a country format:

When "The WYNY Quadcast" was under a country format, its ratings were far more higher than a tropical format.

"The WYNY Quadcast" would be the only country format in the Metro New York City Area.

There are many country fans in this area. (Just look at the amount of petitioners).
