Its the 21st Century and the world has moved on since the Second World War. Europe is now free.
We, the undersigned, vote YES to the Lisbon Treaty. It is the next phase in implementing a common safety measure to ensure human rights, consumer rights, and safe and effective government.
The focus is now on the Czech Republic, namely you, Vaclav Klaus. Let me tell you about the Czech Republic.
- The law is Roman law based on an old Communist legacy. To get to court to sue takes many years.
- Consumer laws go against the consumer. To get protection you should go to the so-called Cesko Obchodni Inspekce (Czech Trading Standards), but they almost never help. In fact, they favour the seller.
- Politicians and Standards agencies, such as the Stavebni Urad (building examiners), are corrupt. In order to get anything done here, they require a bribe.
- The police make up their own laws and are openly corrupt. There is little to no protection against illegal arrest.
There are many other things I could bring up. The Lisbon Treaty is the one way to bring an end to the Anarchy which the Czechs believe to be democracy.
Finally, you are the perfect example of everything that is wrong with this country. You have gone outside your political mandate that is a dictatorship. Every dictator has a follower of some sort. People can side with you if they like, but just remember, the government was elected democratically (the decision was made before Fischers government). There should not be a referendum as the job of the government is to make the decisions needed to run the country effectively. If the people didnt want the Lisbon Treaty, then they should not have elected the government that did.
Back down Mr. Klaus. It is not your job; you are not a saviour of the people; stop thinking you are.
