Yale Gender Identity & Expression Non-Discrimination Policy

Yale University has made a firm statement in favor of equality by adopting a policy of non-discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender, age, disability, or status as a veteran. This policy, however, fails to protect individuals from discrimination based on gender identity or expression.

We, the undersigned, therefore call on Yale University to reaffirm its commitment to diversity and fairness for all by adding “gender identity and expression” to its policy of non-discrimination.
