MEDIA LITERACY NOW!!!

To:  Pennsylvania Department of Education

Due to media bias, it is difficult to find the truth in the media. Given that children today spend such an enormous amount of time around the media, it is important that we teach them how to properly understand media messages. Media literacy is an essential subject for children to learn. It will teach students how to become intelligent citizens and consumers. Media education should be implemented into school curriculum beginning in elementary schools. This petition could than be sent to multiple public school districts proving that media education needs to be part of curriculum.
