Dear Warner Brothers


It has come to our attention that Warner Brothers most recently acquired the rights for the Death Note franchise. We, the signers of this petition, think that actor and superstar Zac Efron would be the ideal actor for the role as Yagami Light. Mr.Efron has claimed that he is a fan of Japanese manga, and chances are that he's already aware of the Death Note franchise.

We, and certainly many more who are aware of the Death Note franchise, believe that the potential casting of Zac Efron in an American Live-Action film would be well received by the fans, and, would be the best choice for a faithful adaption of the franchise. This would also be an exciting project for Mr.Efron which would deviate from his previous work.
