Zune Development Kit

Microsoft needs to allow its owners of their Zune to be able to have the ability to add more to their zune, like addons or minor modifications.

When i say modifications, i dont mean anything like that lets you steal songs off of any local zune without no 3 play or something that bad. i mean simple stuff, like change the rating method to the 5 star format, or add a clock to it, or something along those lines.

Microsoft is wanting to keep the zune simple, but we zune owners dont want it this simple. The moto is "you make it you", but right now there is no way to make it "you".

they have games out already, and allow us to create games for it, but we should have to make a game just to have a clock. we dont want to have to go to the games section, click a game with a clock in it, wait for it to load, then look at the time, then go to turn it off and wait for the thing to restart.

If you agree with me, sign this petition. also if you want, write a small example for a mod you'd like.

I know I didn't describe this very well, but the thoughts cant rely coming only from one person, so please add comments when you sign this. the more comments from more people, the more microsoft will see how big the zune is, and how bigger it will be if they give what the customers want.


Once this petition gets enough, it will be submitted to Microsoft.
