We support the concept of positive growth and economic revitalization of our historic downtown. We believe the concept presented by Peoples Development provides a way to the reach these goals. We ask the City of Oregon to support the initial phase of this project by partnering with our organization and funding the Peoples Development part of the consulting project. The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity will provide funding for the tourism part of the project.
