Olymptronica and Nintendo recently announced the Mario Kart Wii Double Tourney is changed to a "Family only Double Tournament".
Just a Family Double with father/mother and son/daughter will be admitted.
The participation of "normal" players will not be granted.

Nevertheless we have a possiblity changing Nintendos mind by using a petitition.
Nintendo and the organizers have already signalized that if there is enough interest in playing a normal Mario Kart Wii Double Tourney both competitions would be possible.

Nun wurde aber bekannt gegeben, dass das Mario Kart Wii Doppel Turnier als eine Art "Familien-Turnier" stattfinden soll.
Nur ein Familiendoppel aus Vater/Mutter mit Kind ist zugelassen. Die Teilnahme von "normalen" Spielern ist nicht gestattet.

Jedoch gibt es die Möglichkeit Nintendo mit dieser Petition umzustimmen. Nintendo und der Veranstalter haben bereits signalisiert, dass bei ausreichendem Interesse die Möglichkeit besteht auch ein normales Mario Kart Wii Doppel Turnier stattfinden zu lassen.
